The Pi Phis do tend to get the 'beauties', the Thetas get the 'jocks' and the Kappas get the 'partiers'. Dont know much about them but from what I hear theyve been on the rise for the past few years. (Hang w/ some AXO, some KD/DG + Delt, some Sigma Chi, some Kappa Sig) And if you are a girl reading this whos interested in joining greek life, dont listen to this shit. Charters suspended at CSU, Depauw and being kicked off the University of Connecticut and a bus load urinating in public park at Washington state. Some sororities have close ties to fraternities on the same campus and get together informally and for major events. Nice girls though. They can be really snobby to girls on the first day. Alpha Phi is considered by many to be an upper mid-tier sorority. Girls arent really told ahead they will be a Pi phi or Theta but all who end up in PKT know they will end up in one of them. KD was a well desired house this year by a lot of PNMs and for good reason. Chi-O: A lot of girls seemed to prefer Chi-O to Pi Phi and Kappa. Ole Miss, Bama, LSU who cares! There is a wide variety, culturally, from one sorority to another. Some are really nice and some are not at all. The Kappa chapter was shut down for drugs and hazing at Rollins and OSU, and dancing topless at SMU on bid day? That thing that has changed the most is the KappaKappa Gammas are known for hazing. It was one of the first sororities founded. What works for one person may not work for another. Many girls who get AXD end up dropping. Girls that drop rather than be in these houses are making a big mistake. This year, we invited a few juniors to join our house! Zeta Nice girls tho who are looking for a sisterhood. This is pretty accurate, but I go to a southern school where Chi O and Kappa are at the very top. Kappa Delta: Was a bottom tier. Overall Theta competes with Pi Phi and Kappa (less with Kappa in the past couple of years with their suspension for hazing and having to snap bid like twenty five girls a few years back). Every sorority has different traits from chapter to chapter.
